Many thanks to our thousands of loyal customers and friends that have
supported us in the last 11 years. It is with great regret that I have
decided to close this business.
However because of my age, my bad attitude & my unwillingness or (inability)
to deal with the assholes that populate our world today,
it's time for me to "Get The Hell Out Of Dodge"

The Hayseed is now CLOSED temporally and probably permanently.
The owner has gotten a belly-full of the crap that is
associated with running a business in this country.
We would have been closing next year anyway, once the
Obama Care (Affordable Healthcare Act)
would have been imposed on us.

The Building Over The YearsThe building was the home of "Brown's Western Store" for many years. In the year 2000, it was purchased by Harvey & June Fender of Groveland Fl. The Fender's opened the place as "Cowboy Country Restaurant" After a few years, they sold the property to Ferris & Peggy Waller of Plant City. It was then opened in February 2003 as "The Hayseed Cafe."
BROWN'S WESTERN STOREThe building was built by T. Noble Brown, I am not sure of the time but I think in the 60's or 70's. If anyone has information as to when it was built please contact us. The photo attached is a mural that was done by "John Beckett" a local artist. It was on the front of a counter in the store. The painting is still in the Hayseed Cafe. Any info. on John Beckett would be appreciated.
